The effective response rate is 32.29%. The data obtained were then analyzed and validated with statistical methods including independent samples t-test, single factor ANOVA, Pearson correlation and multiple regression, etc. Main conclusions of this study are as follows: 1.In average, the job characteristics consciousness of NKNU graduates is at middle-up level; “Task significance” is nevertheless the highest. 2.The job satisfaction consciousness of NKNU graduates is at middle-up level , and “intrinsic satisfaction” is better than “extrinsic satisfaction”. 3.Graduates in different types of organizations have significant differences in “Task identity”, “Task significance”,“Autonomy”, and “Feedback”. 4.There is an obvious difference in every aspect of job characteristics among graduates of different occupations. 5.There is no significant difference in overall satisfaction consciousness for being teacher education students or not. 6.NKNU graduates have higher job satisfaction in public schools as well as in private large-scale enterprises. 7.NKNU graduates who serve as teachers in primary schools and in junior high schools and those who serve as professionals have higher overall satisfaction consciousness. 8.NKNU graduates’ job characteristics have a positive prediction on their job satisfaction, especially on the “Task significance”.
