| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 跨領域藝術研究所 === 100 === 〈Urban Screens〉is a artwork project which concerns about the production and representation of urban landscape. From the changing urban landscape, I found a crevice in the production process of special urban geographical texts and opened a way of seeing the landscape from it. Kaohsiung is a
typical “industrialized－de-industrialized－post-industrial capitalized” city, every site has its specific
text of historical and geographical development. There are complex productive structures behind the production of urban landscape in the constant process of urbanization and globalization.
〈Urban Screens〉is based on theoretical research and urban research. Using media as a medium of artistic production and connect with academic disciplines, Geography and Art, and generate impacts.Geography, land and landscape are related to its specific histories, sites and memories. This project intended to explain or intervene the present urban problems through geographical, artistic and sociological methods.
