Description
Summary:博士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 工業科技教育學系 === 100 === In the digital era, electronic information and the internet have been accounted as a necessity to our life. The growing dependency upon the quality of web services and user behavior in electronic resource websites of university libraries is worth exploring. This study aims to integrate Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) with web service quality, compiling a model on user behavior of university library electronic resource websites, and using structural equation model (SEM) in verifying the model of the study. This study uses questionnaire survey as the main research method. Totally 1089 survey participants, including fourth year undergraduate students and second year postgraduate students from six public and private universities in Kaohsiung, with the survey conducted based on the user behavior of university library electronic resource websites, contributed to the overall effective rate of returned questionnaires of 90.3%. Statistical analysis and model validation were done with SPSS19.0 and AMOS statistic softwares to contain intercorrelation of variables, interference of background on variables, effects between variables, and model prediction and overall model fit verification. Research findings drawn from this study are as follows: The most common use of the internet for students is doing social activities, with particularily high usage rate of electronic resources, while students also believe that the use of university libarary electronic resources can expand the potential of using such resources in supplementing academic studies and research papers. Conclusions drawn from this study are as follows: 1.The study has well model fit with the appliance of integrated technology acceptance model; 2. Each variable is correlated to any other single variable; 3. Private and public universities show a partial interference effect; 4. Web service quality has a positive effect on behavior intention; 5. Performance expectancy and social influence both exhibit a positive effect on the behavior intention; and 6. Facilitating conditions has a positive effect on the user behavior.
