decide to cooperate with other enterprises as a supply chain. To integrate a supply
chain, information sharing between corporations is criticl. Playing the role of physical
supply and distribution throughout a supply chain, logistics companies will find it very
important to share informations with their partners.
The study explores the relationships among influencing factors, information
sharing status, and improvements in relationship risks and corporate performances in
logistics industry. The content of the questionnaire is based on the literature review
and expert interviews. The data were analyzed using SPSS 17 statistical software.
Applying multiple regression analysis, several results are found: (1) the attitude of
senior managers, information technology used, and the relationship with partners will
affect the information sharing behavior and levels in logistics industry. (2) Information
sharing behavior and levels are not helpful to reduce cooperation relationship risk. (3)
Information sharing behavior will have positive impacts on corporate performances
while information sharing levels will not. When logistic enterprises want to implement
information sharing strategy, the results derived from this study can serve as useful
references.
