The results find that CEO with political background has a positive relationship with the volatility of bank performance. We further incorporate the foreign bank penetration and year dummy in the robustness tests. The results display that the bank should avoid designating the CEO as the only insider and the tenure of CEO should not too long regardless whether the CEO has a background of political affairs or the foreigners have the shares of the bank. The higher the CEO power, the higher the risk of banks are. Hsiu-I Ting 丁秀儀 2012 學位論文 ; thesis 51 zh-TW
