Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立宜蘭大學 === 電機工程學系碩士班 === 100 === In this paper, an alternative type reduction approach based on crisp interval operations is presented to avoid the time-consuming difficulty in the type reduction procedure. Each fuzzy set with an embedded type-1 membership function in the primary membership function of an interval type-2 fuzzy set is approximated as a crisp interval. These intervals are then combined with crisp interval operations to be one integrated interval which represents an interval type-2 fuzzy set. Then the interval type-2 fuzzy set is type reduced to be a type-1 fuzzy set retrieved from the corresponding integrated interval. The proposed crisp-interval-operation type reduction is also applied to the design of a hybrid interval type-2 fuzzy sliding controller for a double-pendulum-and-cart system. The simulation results are included to show the effectiveness of the designed hybrid interval type-2 fuzzy sliding controllers using the crisp-interval-operation type reduction.
