The surveying approach, for which is a literature review in the following topics: the contents of collaborative relationship, the interaction situation between school and community, the resources sharing between school and community. Data were collected through pilot interview, observations and document analyses which given a precise view towards the cause, process, contributions and influence and of the collaborative relationship between
The study concluded the results below:
1. The causes of the collaborative relationship between case school and the local community were “highlighting the issue” and “guidance of policies.
2. The pattern of the collaborative relationship between case school and the local community was changed from “membership” to “partnership”.
3. Case school and the local community have strong sympathy with the collaborative relationship by the interaction situation and the resources sharing.
4. The supports, difficulties and strategies in the process of developing the collaborative relationship between case school and the local community.
5. The advantages of case school and the local community are the highly agglomerated members, resources sharing base on trust, the help from public and private department and the results feedback to all the members involved.
6. Both case school and the local community benefited by the collaborative relationship.
7. Case school and the local community have the same perspective that profits each other.
Lastly, the present study concludes with some relative suggestions as follow:
1. Diverse strategies should be adopted by the case school to make more teachers know Yangcuo branch class well. In order to understand what the Yangcuo branch class needs, the regular symposiums are necessary.
2. The community should pay attention on the personnel training on community development.
3. The authority should redivide the districts to balance the population of the school. By providing more job opportunities to make the man resources backflow to rural area.
