| Summary: | 碩士 === 南華大學 === 生死學系 === 100 === The purpose of this study is to investigate the life process of an unmarried female with cancer, based on narrative research orientation, to explore how the individual,after she was diagnosed cancer and accepted medical treatment, responds to the treats of death by self-narrative, a dialogue with this life situation and the description of her moods. By self-deconstruction in the cleavage of life, the individual re-interpreted life and rebuilt herself.Therefore, the purposes of this study are as following,
1. To realize how the impact of cancer influenced on the individual’s living world and
herself and the process of self-adaptation.
2. To realize the experience of self therapy.
3. To realize how the impact of cancer transformed the individual’s inner meaning of life.
This study takes the image of life flow to self-narrative, researching and analyzing based on externalizing problems. The results obtained are as following,
1. Original family, environment, education, social culture has profound influence on
the individual’s values and behaviors.
2. The pursuit of self and self-reflection plays an important role in the transformation
of the developing life process.
3. Self therapy can nourish individual’s will and the capability of exploring inner
power.
4. The exploring and pursuit of meaning is the way to growth and healing of life.
5. Love is the answer of everything.
