Taiwan also takes a positive attitude to encourage the community to find their local cultural characteristics and promote their local economical development. The study is taking Bantoucuo community as a case to explore and do research on how to use cultural sources in activating local tourism. The study , collated from related documents and references, focuses on local cultural industry and rural tourism, in relations to be a groundwork for fellow-up researches. The research method adopts qualitative research method including in-depth interview method, document analysis, and secondary data analysis. The researcher, taking Bantoucuo community as a target, takes in-depth interview with local cultural industry propellers, local cultural community leaders, and the government officials. Then, analyze interview materials afterwards. Overalls, the study has following conclusions: 1.Local discovery of distinguish features can promote the community identification consciousness and develop economical development. 2.Local features stimulates industry trading through the design marketing of the purchase. 3.Local community associations runs , and interacts actively. Also, they have a great influence on local development. 4.Intergate all features from spot, line into extensive areas through the cooperation from civil organizations, the government, and academic groups to activate local tourism industry.
