As elementary school children have access to the school''s community activities, they learn different practical techniques in each community activity they partake in. In this given situation, does one’s daily lifestyle environment and habits change accordingly? Furthermore, with school’s community participation in external competitions, does it impact and establish one’s daily lifestyle and societal values?     This study was conducted through a case study of students in the lion dance team. It evaluated the process, growth and development of the team in order to understand the impact community participation has on students. How will one’s participation in a lion dance team impact and change one’s daily life? Does these changes and influences affect their ability to adapt to various societal interactions? This study adapted two research methods: "participant observation" and "depth interviews". The research was then supplemented by field surveys and questionnaires with students in the lion dance team. Lastly, the research intends to understand whether allowing students to participate in community events in school help contribute to a more meaningful life path.     This study found that students who participated in competitions and performed lion dance in the community have obtained a more fulfilling and valuable understanding of a meaningful life. Each student was able to understand one’s role in society and strengthen their ability to adapt to changes in society. They are able to understand and link the values and experiences from their lion dance team to practical knowledge in society. They are now able to construct a new understanding of their experiences and conduct themselves accordingly through their lion dance performaces and their social behavior.     In this study,several effects on elementary education and advice: 1. A lion dance activities can provide students a stage to demonstrate their skills. 2. The promotion of lion art activities, students can acguire alternative learning Through opportunities. 3. Successful lion dance performances, will expand student''s life experience . 4. the molding of an excellent lion dance team helps to develop students’positive social behavior and attitudes.
