The study was in convenient sampling. The sampling was conducted between Nov. 2011 and Jan. 2012 in the way of distributing questionnaire in person and through mailing to 600 members of 8 morning swimming clubs. Out of the 600 questionnaire, 567 were recovered, and among them, 536 were valid. The survey instrument named “Questionnaire for Studying Intentions of Morning Swimming Club Members in Participating Event of Swimming across Sun-Moon Lake. Data analysis was conducted in descriptive statistics, t-test, One-Way ANOVAs, Pearson’s Product-Moment Correlation and Multiple Simultaneous Regression. The conclusion drawn is listed below: 1. Among the Morning Swimming Club members interviewed, their attitude toward the event of swimming across Sun-Moon Lake, their subjective regulation and cognitive behavior control as well as the behavioral intentional are mostly positive 2. In this study, Morning Swimming Club members of different background variables has reached significant difference in part of the theoretical variables and in behavioral intentions 3. The theoretical variables under Planned Behavior Theory and the products of them with their corresponding belief are all reached significant level. 4. Attitude, Subjective Regulation and Cognitive Behavior Control can all effectively the behavioral intention, and among them, the effect of cognitive behavior control on the behavioral control is the highest. 5. Direct Measuring Mode has higher interpretation (51.1%) of Intention than the Indirect Measuring Mode (41.9%). Based on the findings above, it is suggested that the hosting unit shall consider environmental, time and safety factors to control the number of participant to allow the member of morning swimming club to enjoy quality swimming-across activities. Also, the morning swimming clubs shall be provided with related information and convenient ways of signing-up to attract their members to join as well as encourage their associates to join these activities. In this study, the behavioral intention of interviewed is focused to survey, but the behavior may be studied in depth in the future research to examine the Planned Behavior Theory and overall structure of the theory. Key Words: Behavioral Intention, Swimming Across Sun-Moon Lake, Morning Swimming Club. 許建民 2012 學位論文 ; thesis 95 zh-TW
