The sample was from two classes of second graders in a public elementary school in Taichung City. Quasi-experimental design was applied in this study. The media presentation with still pictures and narration was used in experimental group one. The media presentation with film and narration was used in experimental group two. Data were collected from four data sourses: (a)Wonderful Plants Achievement Test (b) Attitudes toward Life Course (c) Multimedia Teaching Questionnaire (d) Interview Protocol. The results were as follows: 1. There was no significant difference between the two multimedia presentation forms (still pictures and narration vs. film and narration) in second graders’ understanding. 2. There was no significant difference between the two multimedia presentation forms (still pictures and narration vs. film and narration) in second graders’ attitudes toward life course. 3. Students with still pictures and narration demonstrated more positive opinions toward learning interest and learning situation than those with film and narration. 4. Students in experimental group one and experimental group two exhibited positive opinions toward multimedia teaching.
