It is also a crucial medium for the students about understanding science knowledge and the invention process. With the development of the thet media, scientific invention stories often presented by the patterns of hypertext and use the multi-directional and non-linear characteristics. It’s to break through the text path and way of thinking method in the traditional reading. And it promotes students to more performance in the cognition of the story. The students’ cognition in the story depends on the interaction of the personal story schema and story grammar and which become the key factors of interpretation and understanding for the story. This study used the theory of story grammar as the foundation firstly based on the context, investigated to the scientific invention structure. And refer to the relevant story content, and the author had written the story of “The Dream of Wright Brothers”, and presented by hypertext structure. After that, empirical research had been conducted, and used the method of the qualitative narrative interviews and text analysis, to investigate narrative process of students in the hypertext structure. The interviews phase of study consist of two stages, the first is pilot interviews, and experimental material of the hypertext structure of story presents the image of “dynamic ferris wheel”. And the preliminary results as a reference of the formal interview stage. The second phase is formal interviews. The hypertext structure presents the concept of “the composition of brain”. During the interview, the participants are five high-graders elementary school students.In this phase, the method of the “The Active Reviewing Cycle” with semi-structured had been conducted to proceed the narrative interview, and in-depth qualitative analysis. The research findings are following below: First, organize performance of narrative process from the text clues: (A) The students initially favored bridge inference in the text clues, gradually changing the use of elaborative inference. (B) The students from heavenly steed soaring across the skies of imagination, gradually changing the use of logical thinking. (C) The narrative of student early is pretending the single clues of thinking, lately change the integration of clues to the performance. Second, elaborative inference performce of narrative processing: (A) The direct use of children for story text clues. (B) The students easily related thinking from life experience. (C) The students can make statement by use elaborative inference ability from the past related reading experience. (D) Representation from the story schema of student. Third, discussion on story schema of the students in narrative process: (A) The student about resulted of scientific invention story have successful typical type. (B) The student has established impression in the protagonist of the scientific invention story. Fourth, performance trends toward patterns of narrative process of the text structure: (A) The students have more diversification and unique way of thinking by openness hypertext structure. (B) In the non-linear hypertext structure, it is easy to make student have non-logical thinking of the narrative. . (C) Organizational thinking, elaborative inference to experience feelings constitute basic model of performance in the student narrative process of the hypertext structure.
