Some people are trapped with their loneliness and alienation and could not free themselves; some are content with their loneliness and alienation; and some others transform their loneliness and alienation into unfading works and these works have been passed down from generation to generation. “To Face Loneliness and Alienation – Inevitable True Feeling in Life” is the creative work that the author finished between 2010 and 2012, in which the author made use of characters to display his own emotion, loneliness, and alienation. The author hoped that he could face and understand them, and made use of the function of art, being able to express feelings, to display these emotions clearly. The purpose of this creation was to make use of loneliness and alienation as the creation theme to express mental pain, depression, emptiness, helplessness, anxiety, and elements of hope. Another purpose of this creation was to express the strong “alienation” and “loneliness” between people and people and people and themselves. Theoretical analysis and creation analysis were the study methods. During the process of creation, the author talked to himself and listened to his true voice continuously so as to express his hidden innermost emotions, and these emotions were recorded and introspected thoroughly and served as the reference of future research direction and teaching.
