One is the overflow and overload of the information caused by a large number of users increase.   The effective knowledge management system will acquire, store, transfer and apply the implicit and explicit knowledge systematically that helps organize a mass of information. The other is the rise of the social network in the era of Web 2.0.   Many scholars or the relevant authorities focus on various risk issues that related to the information security. The previous literatures mostly emphasized on the viewpoint of technical and management research; however, few studies had the thematic exploration and analysis in the domain of information security.   The main source of this research is Wikipedia and the theme of this research is information security. This study uses the techniques of network analysis and association rule to construct a knowledge map of information security which was designed by the relationship of the topics and inter-links from Wikipedia. Results of the research showed that the analysis of word frequency was a method to show the important topics in information security field. The network analysis highlights the link and the core structure of the information security topics and presents these conceptual relationships between the topics using a visualized graph. Besides, the mining research on association rules helps to find the implicit information security knowledge. To conclude, the paper offers the knowledge of information security and related topics for the readers, which would improve their understandings in this field.
