碩士 === 國立東華大學 === 化學系 === 100 === This thesis describes the syntheses and applications of chiral ligands 14-21 in various asymmetric reactions. Ligands 14-21 were synthesized from (+)-α-pinene and 2,6-diacetylpyridine by chiral pool synthesis. Among them, ligand 17 was applied for asymmetric Nozaki-Hiyama reation to various aldehydes. The best enantioselectivety was obtained from cyclohexanecarbaldehyde in up to 51% enantiomeric excess. The ligand 54 was applied for asymmetric Nazarov cyclolization, unfortunately, there were no promising results.
