Meanwhile, those experiences and memories further cultivate a person’s characters, merits and values. According to the view, this thesis aims to discuss a close emotional connection between humans and their objects through handwritings of the Truku tribe’s personal anecdotes in the Wen-Lan village. We all know that Taiwanese aborigines’ life greatly depends on Mother Nature. As for their daily utensils, they are mostly weaved by vegetation fibers. From being collected to being weaved, the whole process could be imbued with a tribe’s abundant cultures. Moreover, the intricate knacks for weaving utensils not only meet its main function as containing smaller items but also unfold the tribe’s aesthetic perceptions. Therefore, my research is to probe into the emotional connection between humans and their objects by analyzing Taiwanese aborigines’ traditional weaved utensils. That is, by literature reviews, I have tried to unveil the crucial material cultures and social attributes embodied in such weaved utensils. Then, I interviewed some elders in the Wen-Lan village and wrote down personal anecdotes in their lives. The information is further used as backgrounds of my animation.
