Summary: | 碩士 === 國立東華大學 === 教育行政與管理學系 === 100 === This research was conducted on the basis of the qualitative case study, aiming to explore the respective role of a mentor teacher and partner teachers participating in one professional learning community. It also emphasized on how to apply the spiral reflective model of 「reflection-evaluation-action」 to promote teachers’ professional development. The researcher, who was also the mentor teacher in this professional learning community, used observation note-taking, reflective diary, and interviews to record and explore how the teachers had reflected on their own teaching and their professional development in five aspects, including pedagogical knowledge, classroom management, counseling skills, interpersonal skills, and professional attitudes.
The main findings were summarized as follows: 1. The partner teachers are both learners and sharers; 2. The mentor teacher is both an instructor and a companion; 3. The application of reflective teaching model will facilitate the dialogues in the professional learning community; 4. The application of reflective teaching model will assist teachers’ professional development.
Based on the above findings, some suggestions were also given to the schools and teachers interested in professional learning communities, and future research.
