| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立東華大學 === 自然資源與環境學系 === 100 === Mass agricultural production and International trade force the traditional distribution channel of agricultural products are replaced by modernism route. Farmers’ market which plays an important role in the distribution channel of agricultural products in the traditional society is an agriculture trading platform highly connected with the relationship among producers, consumers and food. For the past few years, more and more farmers’ markets are established in Taiwan. All the start mentioned above is for environment friendly farmers to make livings and to look for the concept of safe food.
The research is based on the methods of participant observation and in-depth interview to collect the data. It is to probe into environment-friendly (organic) farming methods, courses and viewpoints of the farmers at Farmers’ Market of Hualien, as well as to generalize and analyze the reasons why the famers take the environment friendly farming methods.
The result of research shows that the factors of the organic law, economic risk and near field disturbance effect the volition between a few farmers to engage in environment-friendly (organic) farming.Investing in the way of particular material or partial-transferred organic farming is merely for conforming to the law of organic and commerce mechanism.
In comparison to the law and the policy of organic farming, mass production, unsteadfast and venturesome organic farming farmers take the place of a lot of famers with organic spirits of farming and those who desire to across the footsteps to organic farming because of the extra verifying fee as well as unknown economic risk. It causes not only the organic farmers are eliminated from organic verification program but organic agriculture labeling. On the contrary, it limits the development of organic agriculture.
