Electricity is essential to company competition of life. Nevertheless, with the coming era of high oil and electricity prices, how to reduce electricity consumption and enhance energy-saving management has become an urgent issue. The research is targeted at the electricity management service provided by C Telecom Company who derives application service from ICT technique, leverages internet of thing technique and uses the ubiquitous internet, to develop a cloud based platform for electricity monitor service called iEN (intelligent Energy Network Service). The electricity management system of the service will provide energy-saving from a managerial perspective by monitoring via internet, understanding consumers’ electricity usage (checking electricity inventory), analyzing general situation of electricity saving, reviewing abnormal data and verifying energy-saving benefits. Consumers can clearly acknowledge the electricity usage status, understand the general electricity usage condition and problems, adjust and resolve the problems accordingly to efficiently save electricity via the monitor system based on the cloud platform provided by the telecom company. Hundreds of successful cases which verified this intelligent cloud based platform electricity management service are able to get a significant energy-saving effect of approximately 17%. This proved that the service can bring its users both economic and energy-saving benefit as well. Electricity management service is not only implemented in each business unit of C Telecom Company internally but also optimistically introduced to government al organizations, schools, enterprises, hospitals and culture based fisheries.
