The data was collected through questionnaires, and the survey samples consisted of 456 elementary teachers who live in Tainan City. Several instruments were used, including “Co-parenting Scale”, “Family Stress Scale”, and “Marital Quality Scale”. The obtained data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation and regression analysis. Based on the findings, suggestions were made for counseling educators, supervisors, students, and future research. The main findings were summarized as follows: 1.The overall performance is positive and above average in co-parenting and marital quality. 2.On the contrary, in family stress it is below average and relatively low. 3.In terms of background variables, there are remarkable correlation between the difference of sex and marital quality. 4.Furthermore, in the item of co-parenting, there is correlation with both difference of sex and the number of children in a family. 5.The correlation between co-parenting and the marital quality is obvious positive of elementary teachers with double-income and children. 6.On the contrary, the correlation is negative between family stress and marital quality. 7.According to this study, marital quality is predictable by co-parenting and family stress; furthermore, the best explanation index is the “trust and cooperation” subscale of “Co-parenting”, which contributes up to 55.7% of variance together with the “husband and wife relationship” subscale of “Family stress”.
