| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立嘉義大學 === 行銷與運籌研究所 === 100 === This study investigated the perception of insecurity of taxi passengers and drivers. Taxi passengers and drivers and were randomly selected in Chia-yi area for face-to-face interview. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) techniques were applied to analyze the structural relationship between fear of crime, risk perception, social support, social learning and perception of insecurity. The results showed that the fear of crime is positively related to perception of insecurity for both passengers and drivers, and social support is positively related to taxi drivers. Moreover, when the taxi drivers and passengers had higher fear of crime, they were more likely to have greater perception of insecurity.
