To monitor tree growth measurements (DBH and tree height) and tree morphological characteristics (crown diameter and tree of appearance types) in the plots and collecting soil and vegetation data, 20 parameters were recorded. These data were then subjected to statistical multivariate analyses of variance. The main factors and their factorial analysis in turn allocated the parameters into 5 categories of tree health level indicators, included tree growth, crown vigor, tree damage, soil reaction and index of diversity performance. These indicators were capable of explaining 75.73% of the total variability. Further application of discriminant functions to individual explanatory indicators allowed health levels of the stand trees to be ranked. Discriminate analysis predictive grouping of plantations produced 84.2% fit; indicating a high degree of predictability based on these indicators. The overall results indicated that presently the Casuarina plantations between the healthy level and moderately unhealthy levels. Through quantification of this indicator and in combination with on-site observations, a basic reference for a rapid health level sorting evaluation of coastal Casuarina plantations can be established.
