The positive behavior support plan based on the information of functional assessment was drawn up. The participants were two high school students with intellectual disabilities in special school. The A-B-A-B reversal designs of a single subject research design were used in this study , and data of the maintenance phases were collected to analyze the experimental effects. At the end, persons who are involved in the participants’ experiment were interviewed to examine the effects of social validity. The results of the study indicated: 1.The results of the functional assessment demonstrated that factors influence the off-task behavior of both participants included sensory stimulation, getting attention, and escaping from task demand. 2.The positive behavior support plan based on the results of functional assessment was drawn up, and comprised adjusting the seats, adjusting the evaluation methods, increasing the opportunities of practice and answering questions, raising hands for expressing needs or requesting for help, reinforcement, response cost, extinction, and so forth. 3.The positive behavior support plan evidently reduced off-task behavior and promoted on-task behavior of both participants. The results of the study could be maintained. Jung-Chang Tang 唐榮昌 學位論文 ; thesis 168 zh-TW
