碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 公共事務與公民教育學系 === 100 === Since 1980 years, the out-of-balance phenomenon of sex that the men are more than women that have produced in the marriage market. Add to the womens’ idea of marriage has changed in recent years, it causes a lot of men of inferior social position must seek target for intermarry outwards. The new immigrant females from China have poured into Taiwan that becomes the social fact. The new immigrant females from China who get into Taiwan can take the Taiwan civic identification according to the law of nationality. But I find that the new immigrant females from China exercise the limited citizenship in fact, including the right of freedom politic, and society. I think that the citizenship for the new immigrant females from China is not so good as the people of Taiwan. This study is to regard this inequality phenomenon and describe the process and intension that the new immigrant females from China get the civic identification , accept the citizenship education and exercise it. I also focus the main place in Taiwan that the new immigrant females from China get political socialized, including the country, family, community, school and other places. I analyze their ability in citizen knowledge, citizen moral integrity and citizen participation . I point out that the social capital constructed by the environment is a key factor whether the civil right succeeds or not in essence operation. The Taiwan-China relation is so special and changeful , but Taiwan has appeared the various and forgivable general value including the ethnic culture, political standpoint, ideology, social value, etc. The new immigrant females from China no doubt have their growing background .But if they identify Taiwan and be willing to link to the destiny of Taiwan, the people of Taiwan should open their mind to welcome this new immigrants. Taiwan will show the appearance of democracy. Key words: the new immigrant females from China, citizenship, social capital.
