The obtained results reveal that the pollution of the LC materials is mainly attributed to the acrylic and epoxy composites in the sealant materials. Increasing the acryl concentration effectively decreases the pollution of the LCs, and also increases polymerization ratio of the sealant materials. Furthermore, the concentration of the acrylic composite does not influence the adsorption capability, durability and stability of sealant materials. When the acrylic concentration exceeds 40 wt%, the pollution of the LCs from the sealant materials meets the criterion for mass production of the LC displays.
