This study aims to investigate the design of microwave applicators by simulation and find out the optimal applicator design with fair distribution of electromagnetic power inside the heating chamber to decrease the error of heating temperature. After chamber structure and size is produced as a unit, more units are sequently combined according to customers’ requirement. Finally, a standard applicator is manufactured according to the design and the microwave frequency is set as 2450MHz. The experimental result confirms the credibity of simulation analysis.
