Questionnaires including two instruments: Leadership Attitude Scale,and School Organizational Climate Questionnaire were used to survey 245 chinese independent secondary school teachers. The statistical methods used to analyzed the data were descriptive statistic, one-way ANOVA, Scheffe’s method and Pearson’s product-moment correlation. The conclusions of the study were summarized as follows: 1. Over 75% of teachers perceived principal leadership attitude of system thinking over middle, principal leadership attitude of hierarchical thinking as well. 2. Teachers perceived school organizational climate as “Open” was the most, “Disengaged” was the second, “Engaged” and “Closed” were the least. 3. Significant differences were found in leadership attitude and organizational climate. 4. There were significant correlations among leadership attitude and organizational climate. Finally, based on the results, suggestions for educational administration agencies, secondary school principals, teachers and future studies were proposed. 林國楨博士 2011 學位論文 ; thesis 131 zh-TW
