碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 企業管理學系國際企業經營管理 === 100 === With the signing of the Economic Cooperation Framework Agreement (ECFA) between Taiwan and Mainland China two years ago, substantial changes have occurred in the trade markets for both. As steel products, in particular, are on the Early Harvest List, many in the industry have been harboring great expectations for ECFA, hoping that its signing will expand the market for the industry. However, in addition to the ECFA signed between Taiwan and Mainland China, other countries have been in talks with one another for the possibility of forming various Free Trade Agreements (FTAs), hoping that these preferential trade agreements signed between regions will lead to a greater degree of trade liberalization within the participating regions, as compared with outside the participating regions.
