碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 地理學系 === 100 === 　　For achieve a better development of sustainable development of agriculture, the government helped the farmers to transform and develop their farms to agricultural leisure areas by integrating the advantages of each specific area, local agricultural products, countryside lifestyle and natural environment and expected these actions can improve the economic environment of rural areas and promote their agricultural development. For improving the management of operating agricultural leisure areas and the quality of services, the government decides to adopt evaluation system as a “closure mechanism” in agricultural leisure areas to ensure the capabilities and qualities of agricultural leisure areas. 　　Fuguei area of Nantou Guosing Township is located on No.14 Provincial Highway. It used to be the only path to Sun Moon Lake and Puli from Changhua. From December to April each year, lots of tourists, who want to pick fresh strawberries or to buy local farms’ products, crowed the strawberry farms by the road and this area. Fuguei area was designated as “Fuguei agriculture leisure area” in 2004 by government. However, it failed to pass the evaluations twice due to low performance, which might result in be abolished soon. 　　This study employed field investigation and in-depth interview approaches to examine the resources in Fuguei agriculture leisure area, and discussed its promotion and development. Moreover, the SWOT analyses were used to find out the problems of Fuguei agriculture leisure area, and to figure out the strategies for its further development. 　　The abundant farm products and fully developed amusement facilities in Fuguei area are the advantages in developing leisure agriculture. However, the inefficient interactive leisure experiences provided by the farms and the less integrated local resources are its weaknesses. This study suggests that the government should make the existing facilities nearby the Guosing Interchange more attractive to serve as a rest area to attract more visitors. In addition, by combining the nearby famous scenic attractions as a whole package might be a good strategy to overcome the threat of low attractions of its tourism resources.
