Summary:碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 生物學系 === 100 === In this study, we adopted action research, formed a teacher action research team anddesigned a carbon footprint course. Two classes ofseven grade students participated in this carbon footprint course.We used interviews, analysis of students’ learning sheets, and observation as tools to understand their learning effects.We also found the problems in the course of teaching.We improved the teaching material through constant teaching reflections, discourse with the participating teachers, and reprocess. The research goal are as follows: 1. To developthe course which core concept is carbon footprint,2. To understand the problem and solution during the action research, 3. To explore the learning effects through the course. The findings revealed that they have shown significant improvements in their attitude ofcarbon reductionand knowledge of carbon footprint after students finished attending the course. In other words, such a course would bring positive effect for students. Action research is not only solved the problems but also elaborated thecourseeffectively.
