碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 工業教育與技術學系 === 100 === Abstract The purpose of the study was to investigate the relationship between Taichung junior high school principals’ servant leadership, and leadership effectiveness. The population of the study was Taichung junior high schools include public and private school full time teachers in 2011, 40 schools were selected by a cluster sampling method. A total of 294 valid questionnaires were collected out of the 400 issued with a valid return rate of 73.5%. The instruments of the study included Servant Leadership Questionnaires, and Leadership Effectiveness Questionnaires. The reliability Cronbach’s α were .985, and .946 respectively. According to data processing and statistical analysis, the conclusions of this study were as follows: 1. There were significant differences between Taichung junior high schools principal’s servant leadership and leadership effectiveness on different background variables. 2. Taichung junior high schools principal’s servant leadership was positively related to the leadership effectiveness. 3. The correlation score of “building community” was the highest and “healing” was the lowest. 4. Taichung junior high schools principal’s servant leadership can be predicted of principal’s leadership, “building community” was the best predictor. 5. Taichung junior high schools principal’s servant leadership can be predicted of principal’s leadership, the total variance was 85.7%.
