In order to achieve the research purpose, after a careful literature review, this study applies the pedagogy of Problem-Solving Learning in Disscussion to the information technology course. Meanwhile, an experimental teaching, examined and revised by experts, was carried out. The objects of the experimental teaching are students in the first grade in a junior high school in Hsin Chu, and the teaching lasts for a span of eight weeks. 52 students are in the experimental group which adopts the pedagogy of Problem-Solving Learning in Disscussion, while other 52 students are in the control group which takes traditional teaching methods. The research tool was the form of New Problem-Solving Test compiled by Zhan, Xiu-Mei and Wu, Wu-Dian . Data, gathered from the pre-test and the post-test, are statisticalized and analyzed.
