Summary:碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 工業教育與技術學系 === 100 === Rotary cutting system is the system that is frequently applied to assembly lines in the field of industry. This system provides more reasonable cutting function in which knife wheel could continue cutting following the constant rotation, and it is more efficient than the previous system of back and forth cutting. However, when the system is functioning, it is closely related to the length of the cutting materials, the speed of conveyor belt and the speed of motor rotation. A tiny carelessness in the speed change control will result in the push and twist between cutter and materials, which will result in the damage of materials or the quicker blunt of the cutter. This study is aimed to introduce the concept of brain emotional learning-based intelligent controller (BELBIC) within artificial intelligence in order to solve this problem. A mechanism of BELBIC is established and applied to rotary cutting system and compared with the traditional PI control.
