But, indoor coverage has always been a problem due to the large penetration loss when the radio signal travels through walls of the buildings from the base station. So, we can deploy the home eNodeBs (HeNBs) to increase the coverge of base station in the house. HeNBs are deployed over the existing macrocell network and share the same frequency spectrum with macrocells. Due to spectrum scarcity, femtocells and macrocells have to reuse the total allocated frequency band partially or totally which leads to co-channel interference. In this thesis, we propose the JWSQ scheme, a coordination interference scheme to deal with femtocells in LTE-Advenced networks with carrier aggregation (CA). Carrier Aggregation not only can use the coordination among carriers to reduce interference , but also to support very high data rate transmissions over wide frequency bandwidths(e.g., up to 100 MHz).
