Considering about lacking of the related discussion, the article dresses on dual aspects from literary sociology and literary history through index of the publications and writers of Erya Publisher to study on Yindi, the founder’s contribution to Taiwan publishing industry and literary history. Comparing with the other two publishers - Belles-Lettres and Chiu-Ko from Taiwan’s Five-Minor literary publishers, Erya Publisher is much closer to Belles-Lettres in its overall spiritual outfit and internal ideology. The similarity also consists in their individual combination of the writers. With Erya Publisher’s significant position in literary publishing field, it breeds many extraordinary writers. While we take a look at the rise of female writers in 1980’s, we could also sense the same transition in its writer combination inside Erya Publisher in the mean while. To search for the artistic Aesthetics of the short short stories, Erya Publisher plays an important role of being catalyst and connecting bridge in between News supplements and internet media. Erya Publisher builds up own historic spirit among whole publishing field through out those publications of memories of the early days in semi-colonial period of China/Taiwan, photo galleries and historic memorandum in each forms of literary. Starts from 1995, Erya Publisher tends to have several different writers in single publication. The phenomenon could be viewed as evidence of the interaction with Taiwan publishing industry. The glory which the brand name – Erya brings has represents its capitalism, love of literary, identification of its founder – Yindi; and are still shines and draws the attention from those new lovers of literary field domestically and internationally.
