| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立中央大學 === 中國文學研究所 === 100 === This research focuses on the life and work of two Taiwanese writers, Ciou Miao-Jin and Yuan Zhe-Sheng. By studying their representing works and the public opinions after their death upon them, we get an understanding of the two writers encounter with deaths and emotional breakdowns during their span of life. Through analyzing these two writers styles of writings, we compare their points of views toward depression and death, and value their fighting through depression and the temptation of giving up life. Through these studies, we gain a deeper understanding and appreciation toward these two writers life long struggles.
