Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中央大學 === 土木工程研究所 === 100 === The purpose of this study is to discuss important factors affecting the flexural deformation of reinforced concrete columns by using traditionally parametric analysis. These parameters are different confining models, different layouts of confining hoops, axial forces onto columns, plastic-hinge length models, and size of column sections. The results show that confinement effect influences significantly on high-strength concrete specimens. The results obtained by sectional analysis using different confine model are more the same. Besides, the length of the hinge has the most severe effect on the displacement calculated. Moreover, increasing the axial force enhances the strength of the column, but reduces the displacement capacity.
