Summary:碩士 === 國立交通大學 === 教育研究所 === 100 === The present study aims to explore the inner experiences and motivations to leave of clients who dropped out but saying nothing to counselors. Hermeneutic phenomenology method and thematic analysis was adopted in this research. The researcher interviewed six clients by in-depth semistruture method, to explore and interpretation the deeper meaning. This result of this study were: (1) negative experiences with counselors makes the clients disappointed, which includes: (a) seeking help with hope, imagine, apprehension, and after counseling, they felt disappointed (b) senses of uncertainty, unmanageable (c) unsatisfied needs-fulfillment. (2) to show dissatisfaction to couselors by way of saying nothing and left, the deeper experience as follow: (a) the last way to express feelings in the counseling process, and (b) saying nothing and left in order to maintain harmony on the surface. Finally, suggestions for counselor, clients, counseling centers, and future related researches were provided according to the result of the research.
