碩士 === 國立體育大學 === 休閒產業經營學系碩士班 === 100 === The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship among the elder’s social support, leisure activity, and quality of life. Hope the results can improve elder’s quality of life. The research method was quantitative. The subjects of the study were elders who were over sixty-five years old who lived in Taoyuan county. The researcher conducted the on-site survey by a validity and reliability questionnaire by convenience sampling. There were 90 valid questionnaires collected. This research data was analyzed by description statistic, correlation analysis, and hierarchical regression analysis. The results were as following: The elder who has higher degree of leisure participation, has higher degree of social support and has higher quality of life. Also, the elder who perceives higher degree of social support has higher degree of quality of life. In addition, the relationship between leisure participation and quality of life is not moderated by social support. Based on the results of this study, further suggestions and recommendations are provided for elders, household, society, government, and future researchers.
