Summary:碩士 === 國立體育大學 === 休閒產業經營學系碩士班 === 100 === The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of outdoor adventure education on aboriginal teenagers and the influence behind the mechanism. The selected subjects of the study were five aboriginal teenagers who joined the overseas expedition of 16 days to Yuzhu Peak held by department of recreation and leisure management the National Sport University. In-depth interviews were held to develop texts and thematic analysis was adopted for analyzing the texts. There were four essential themes about the resilience of aboriginal teenagers in outdoor adventure education: the support and role models from the team, enhancing interpersonal skills, change of self-image, and religion. The mechanism behind the outdoor adventure education contains: the expectations for learning, social support, disequilibrium, empowerment, emphasis on action, wilderness environment, social learning theory, transfer of learning. Base on the findings, the researchers presented suggestions for the outdoor adventure educators, youth workers and researchers.
