Summary:碩士 === 國立體育大學 === 休閒產業經營學系碩士班 === 100 === This study aims to explore the relationship between adolescent’s basic psychological needs, goal oriented type and motivation in physical education (PE). Junior and senior high shool students are participants. A total of 600 questionnaires were issued, and the effective sample size of 432. The results are as follows: 1. Competence, autonomy and relatedness in the basic psychological needs can effectively explain the intrinsic motivation in PE, which relatedness is maximum explanation. Competence and autonomy can effectively explain the extrinsic motivation which competence is maximum explanation. In addition, competence can be negative explanation for amotivation. 2. Task orientation can effectively explain the intrinsic motivation in PE; task and ego orientation can effectively explain the extrinsic motivation; and task orientation can be negative explanation for amotivation. 3. The intrinsic and extrinsic motivation have the positive influence on effort in PE and after-school physical activity intention, but a negative influence on boredom in PE. Amotivation show exactly opposite result to compare with intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. In addition, the intrinsic motivation has maximum prediction to the effort in PE and after-school physical activity intention. Amotivation have maximum prediction to the boredom in PE.
