Two hundred and eighteen effective surveys were received from the current teachers of the division of industrial special needs of the vocational senior high schools in Taiwan. The data is analyzed by factor analysis, reliability analysis, using the LISREL model to measure the relationship amongst the constructs. The results show that the current competition has positive influence on coping strategy and development vision. The operating pressure has negative influence on coping strategy and development vision. The mediating effects of coping strategy towards the understanding of current competition, operating pressure can positively influence on development vision. The results indicate that the executives of vocational senior high schools are facing competition in the current situation and the operating pressure, through the mediating effect of coping strategies to improve the organization's development vision, in order to solve the problems faced by the organization and to prevent new competition. This study suggests that principals should continue to pursue further studies in order to cultivate the ability of the professional and strategic leadership, to cope with the current competition and the operating pressure, and lead teachers and students toward the advanced development vision in their efforts.
