The government in Taiwan generally emphasizes on the electronics industry instead of the food industry. If Taiwan’s food manufacturers want to be able to compete with Coca Cola, Pepsi, Nestle and Unilever and occupy a place in the international market, they ought to invest and enter Asian developing and emerging markets, such as Mainland China. In order to have the business run smoothly, overseas human resources are the most vital along with capital, equipment, and product. Overseas’ staff have a great responsibility for the company’s development, management, and spirit. This study puts Taiwan’s food industry supervisors having a greater chance to be assigned to work overseas as samples. The study method is to use Multiple Regression Analysis to research the cause of affecting staff’s willingness to work overseas. In this study data, 370 questionnaires were sent out and 198 valid ones were collected. The result of this study goes as follows. 1) Career planning, income structure and family issue have no significant influence on staff’s willingness to work overseas. 2) The ability of solving conflicts and the work place have significant influence on staff’s willingness to work overseas. Key words:Career Planning, Income Structure, Family Issue, Ability of Solving Conflicts, Work Place Hsin-Hong Kang 康信鴻 2012 學位論文 ; thesis 79 zh-TW
