Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 都市計劃學系碩博士班 === 100 === Recently, the global climate changed since the environment has changed rapidly. The statistical results of International Strategy for Disaster Reduction (ISDR) indicated that the incidence and magnitude of disasters had increased apparently during 1975 to 2010. Taiwan is one of the high disaster risk areas suffered from the threats of multiple natural disasters. Therefore, disasters reduction have become one of the important issues in Taiwan. Many experts have figured out that the natural hazards were usually not caused by single force of natural phenomena. Once the disaster happened, there were incident disasters induced, which known as compound disasters. The prior researches often focused on single disaster rather than compound disasters. Thus, this study attempts to investigate the compound features of disasters on the discussions of disaster risk by using Morakot Typhoon as the studied object, which caused domestic and typical compound disaster in 2009. This research is based on the disaster risk formula by ISDR and takes the degree of exposure under disasters as consideration referred to prior studies. We make some accommodations of the disaster risk model based on the methods on compound disasters of previous researches to create an assessing model of compound disasters risk. This article made two models for hazard analysis: one with the multiple regression model analysis to investigate the degree of relationships between Hazard and environmental indicators, another one which applied the concept of spatial matrix of geographically weighted regression to adjust the parameters of environmental indicators of each village, and then proceed with multiple regression analysis to explore the relationships between with multiple regression analysis to explore the relationships between Hazard and environmental indicators. The results were compared to learned that the geological classification, the ratio of vegetated area, catchment area, the ratio of primary industrial sectors area and the ratio of the density of transport facilities have the features of spatial impact. And the geological classification, the ratio of vegetated area, catchment area, the ratio of female population , the ratio of primary industrial sectors and the density of transport facilities have significant relationship with hazard
