Summary: | 碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 都市計劃學系碩博士班 === 100 === Coastal forest which can reduce strong wind, sandstorm, tide and salt mist is an important natural barrier in the coastal areas. It can also improve the worse coastal environment and conserve ecology. With regard to Taiwan, which is an island country, the change of coastal forest issues are necessary and important not only in an aspect of planning but also in research.
In recent years, research on land use change mostly focuses on simulation change and urban land use change. Coastal forest which has positive benefits on the ecological environment; however, forest loss is rarely taken seriously. The study of coastal forest change only focuses on itself, but it lacks of understanding of the structural characteristics of coastal forest. Landscape ecological metrics is a method that is often used to analyze the landscape pattern changes in space and time. It provides a quantitative method to estimate land use change. And we use these metrics to understand the structural characteristics of coastal forest. Considering coastal forest land use change have many impact variables, we refer to the DSR framework to establish the system of coastal forest land use change. And we use multiple regression model to understand the relationships between structural characteristics and coastal forest land use change in Yilan and Pingtung.
Our research purposes can divide for three parts: The first, survey coastal forest land use change; second, combine the structural characteristics of coastal forest with landscape ecological metrics, and induce the indicators suitable for the coastal forest structural characteristics; the third is to discuss the relationships between structural characteristics and coastal forest land use change by multiple regression .
The results of research show that Yilan and Pingtung coastal forest all showed a decreasing trend. mean shape index, mean patch fractal dimension index, edge density and mean patch size have a significant effect of the two study areas in the coastal forest use, especially area and edge of structural characteristics for the coastal forest use changes have more direct impact. In the future, coastal planning or regional planning can use the analysis of this study to pursue more appropriate planning.
