This study is aimed at numerical simulation Ringbom Stirling engines by combining a thermodynamic and a dynamic models. Numerical predictions of the motion of displacer, angular speed of flywheel, and power output of the engine are carried out. Meanwhile, a parametric study has been performed to evaluate the dependence of engine performance on inertia of the flywheel,temperature in expansion chamber, eccentricity of the flywheel,mass of the displacer,and radius of the central bar of displacer. From the parametric study, the optimal phase angle of displacement is found as a function of the temperature in the expansion chamber,and the operating range of this Ringbom Stirling engine is found.
