The slurries and solid particles would change throughout the time, and by the changes of the slurry concentration, size and quantity of the solid particles. According to above conditions, the author designed a series of experiments to study and record the changes. The experiments used slurries and mixtures as the simulated material of debris flow. The experiments have divided into two types. The first type had 25%, 27.5%, and 30% slurries concentration mixed with 0%, 15%, and30% mixtures concentration, letting them rest for 1 minute, 10 minutes, and 180 minutes respectively, then put them into the inclined channel with 15 degrees, and used an artificial gate to be the mechanism of the dam break and observed and recorded the data through reviewing the video, pictures, and deposition of the mixtures. The second type experiment adjusted the equipments and configuration to correct the first type experiment which included changing the artificial gate to the automatic gate, and the fixed water volume to the fixed total volume. The discussion of this article described the movement of the slurries and discussed the flow velocity, deposition volume and the distribution of the solid particles. The result showed that the movements of the slurries and mixtures had created waves to make the flow velocity unable to maintain the tendency of increasing or decreasing. Besides, the change of flow velocity and deposition had correlation with the rheological characteristic of solid particles. When the yield stress and viscosity were bigger, the flow velocity and deposition became smaller. The second type experiments found that added the automatic gate could stabilize experiments data. The result showed that Manning’s n value was 0.01, the deposition thickness Gauss’s distribution was CT=0.211, and solid particles would accumulate on the downstream when the movement stopped.
