Regardless of when and where you can use which have applied for application or service in the internet, this trend is another milestone for the collaborative business environment. An ideal solution about collaborative commerce is that the enterprise can free choose service’s function. That will help companies to reduce the cost. The machinery industry is the manufacturing industry foundation, but also an important industry in Taiwan. After needs analysis of machinery industry, this study has planned a collaborative platform for a new product development process. Companies don't need to invest in the purchase of equipment and manpower arrangement and they will free to choose own useful modules of collaborative platform. Only through the electronic products and network, they can complete their work anywhere. This study proposed a Service-oriented Architecture and web Services collaborative commerce platform to be deployed in a Cloud Computing environment. The platform based on the product data management (PDM) that is expected to provide an uniform product information for customers and members of supply chain and easily build their own collaborative system.
