The common shortcomings of pesticide residues and environmental pollution could be improved; and the purpose of optimization growth and safety for comfrey could be achieved. And we apply the skill of vacuum freeze drying technique, the comfrey would be freeze drying and then vacuum packing, the type of store which is efficient and convenient could be carried out. Base on the studies, there are three ways of the process of vacuum freeze drying for comfrey, the result of experiment shows steady for moisture and the length of time. But because the strip of comfrey could be curved when drying, the heat area could be reduced between heater and comfrey. The heat could not transfer from heater to comfrey easily, and the aluminumware could be better heat transform than the ironware. So the method 3 is mashes the comfrey and put it on aluminumware flatly. The comfrey could be touched with the heater, so the heat transform could be induced quickly and uniformly, the moisture and the length of time could be reduced.
